CURRENT RESEARCH
The University of Texas has had such incredible success with IASIS Technology in mitigating common Behavioral Health problems like anxiety and depression that their research department at the UT Tyler branch has now started two formal research studies on the effectiveness of IASIS. The studies are focused on mitigating anxiety and depression and slowing down the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, a new double-blinded and randomized research study is now being co-authored by UT Tyler with Matthews Hope Foundation to determine the effectiveness of IASIS in promoting abstinence-based sobriety without relapse in active opioid users.

The IASIS mission is to create optimal brain performance for a range of neurological issues, including opioid addiction and other addictions, as well as PTSD, ADD, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, migraines, pain, and many more conditions of the brain. IASIS also allows the brain to begin endorphin production again after years of opioid use.

"Transcranial Electrical Stimulation Shows Promise for Treating Mild Traumatic Brain Injury"
" Using a form of low-impulse electrical stimulation to the brain, documented by neuroimaging, researchers at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) and collaborators elsewhere, report significantly improved neural function in participants with mild traumatic brain injury (TBI)."
WHat ARE iasis TREATMENTS like?
IASIS allows the brain to begin endorphin production again after years of opioid use. IASIS does NOT involve the use of drugs, and continued IASIS treatment often allows the client to reduce the dosing and frequency of other non-opioid prescriptive medication used for depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, TBI, and other behavioral health symptoms. Unlike other clinical modalities like EMDR or TMS, the client feels nothing and only relaxes during the short treatments. (Although IASIS can be used in conjuction with many therapeutic interventions since it improves cognitive function.)
During an IASIS Treatment, clients relax in a comfy chair, and during the first session the IASIS Certified Provider will do an intake evaluation including identifying client diagnoses, current medication, and issues that brought the client to consider IASIS. During the treatment, the ICP connects 6 leads (similar to EKG leads but much smaller) to different parts of the head. The leads are attached by using a a small amount of non-greasy, lotion-like conductive paste. The paste is removed with a cotton ball and witch hazel at the end of the session. During the treatment, the client feels nothing and can talk to the provider or sit quietly and relax. The paste is removed with a cotton ball and witch hazel at the end of the session..
Unlike traditional neurofeedback, Micro Current Neurofeedback produces fast results in a limited number of sessions, and the ease and simplicity of treatment all distinguish it from traditional neurofeedback. Micro Current Neurofeedback produces a measurable change in the brainwaves without conscious effort from the individual receiving the feedback. The result is a changed brainwave state and much greater ability for the brain and nervous system to regulate itself. Micro Current Neurofeedback is imperceptible to the client, and requires no conscious effort. Our experience shows that more than 85% of our clients observe a noticeable positive response in one to three sessions. Reported changes are generally enduring and sustainable. MCN Micro Current Neurofeedback is very effective in many areas, including: Anxiety, Depression, TBI, PTSD, ADD/ADHD and Substance Abuse.
IASIS treatments have also had proven benefits in significantly reducing cravings, while improving general healing and wellness. This clinic-based micro current neurofeedback treatment is proving to be a cost-effective, safe modality which can lead to long-term abstinence-based recovery and sobriety.
